Every dose is weighed to within 0.2 grams, and the grind adjusts itself if the shots start to drift. Nobody on the staff needs to know how to dial in a grinder.

Cappuccino and latte at the touch of a button, with hot or cold milk foam. For latte art there is a separate milk-foam outlet, and if you like to steam your own, you use the steam wand.
Easy to service (modular design).
The machine is built from modules that can each be swapped in a few minutes. It tells you itself where the fault is.
The café, restaurant or hotel that wants to serve espresso and milk drinks of even quality, whoever is at the machine. Smart X makes 156 espressos or 151 cappuccinos an hour. If you need more capacity, there is Smart X Master.
This Smart X is fitted as B2CMSY: milk drinks at the touch of a button, a separate milk-foam outlet and the CayeSteam steam wand. It has two grinders and takes two types of milk. Other options, such as a 30 g brewing chamber, a grounds chute through the counter or a hot-water outlet for the office, are chosen in the configurator.
If you want to fine-tune, each recipe lets you control dose, volume, tamping pressure, headspace, pre-infusion and bloom. Before every tamp, VVD levels the bed automatically. With two grinders, two different beans can run in the same machine.
Smart X connects to mains water and a drain. Where there is no drain, we can install it with a 20-litre tank as the drain. Where there is neither, we build a pump solution with tanks for water and drain. So premises without water are no obstacle.
You start the cleaning on the screen, and the programme takes about 18 minutes. The grounds drawer holds 4 litres, and the machine tells you when it needs emptying. With CAYE IoT you see consumption and alarms remotely.
